Kate is a designer and yogini at heart. Her two biggest passions of knitting and yoga are always part of her life. She is originally from a small English village near the Peak District, but she’s lived in many places, including New York, London and Bristol. Now she’s based in Pamplona, Spain, where she continues to work on inspiring projects.

Kate’s design work spans over 15 years, including fashion knitwear for established brands and small start-ups, as well as textiles for interiors. Academically she has achieved a first class Degree and a Masters with distinction. Her current interests lie in sustainability and new technologies that can shape the future of knitted textile production.

Kate shares her creative passions and experience with others through teaching. She lectures at Universities on design courses, and also teaches yoga. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, dancing Lindy Hop, rock climbing, trekking, vegetarian cooking, drawing and anything crafty.

For more details about Kate’s experience and education view her Timeline and Knitwear Design CV, or have a look at her Portfolio of knitted textiles for fashion, interiors and recent MA Design projects.
