In 2001 I travelled around Europe with my family. In 3 months we visited 12 countries in a small campervan designed for 2, but we squeezed in 5! I did these drawings of dragon bridge in Ljubljana on that trip.
Another Sunday afternoon sketching in the V&A Museum. This time I was drawn to a display of Indian screens carved out of sandstone and marble. They reminded me of my trip to India I did a few years ago. Sure…
One of my favourite sketchbooks is based on tribal body decoration. This is a painting I did of a Nuba tribesman from Sudan. I love the geometric patterns and soft pastel colours with the dark contrast and hint of ember.
Having just completed my 200 hours of training, I am now certified to teach yoga. I have practiced yoga for years and I’m really excited to share it with other people. This is not the end of my design work, this is just the beginning of a new path that will continue alongside my work as a knitwear designer. Why have one career when you can have two?!
