Kate was the Senior Designer for Women’s Knitwear and Jersey at Kew 159 (Jigsaw’s sister brand) in 2011. She was responsible for researching, designing and developing women’s knitwear and jersey, from initial design concept through to production. She worked closely with product developers, buyers, technicians and overseas suppliers. She traveled for inspirational research, yarn and trim sourcing, and factory visits. She created tech packs and specs for sampling and led fittings.
