‘Wood & Wool’
Textile Wall Surfaces
MA Design Project 2015
An experimental Masters project exploring textile wall surfaces for interiors with a multidisciplinary approach. The use of materials that would not normally be put together (cork and wool), are joined using techniques that combine the slowness of traditional handcrafts (hand embroidery) and the speed of emergent technologies (laser cutting & digital knitting). The abstract artwork has been developed from a life drawing.
