S4CS: Final Project 2013

The School for Creative Startups (S4CS) is a one year programme that guides you through the initial stages of setting up a creative business. This project included research into marketing, branding, business finances, funding and extensive research into production options.

The collection was showcased in London at Somerset House Embankment Galleries at The Startup Showcase in March 2013. The knitted blankets and cushions on display were made from 100% Scottish lambswool, with an organic cotton back and metal buttons. They were made in Britain by Kate Mawby on hand-operated knitting machines. Samples of the blankets were also developed in 100% baby alpaca and made in Peru by fair trade suppliers.
